Wheel hub production process

1.Casting or forging: Aluminum or steel billets are first cast or forged at high temperatures to form a blank with a central groove

2.Initial processing: Put the blank into a lathe or CNC machine tool for initial processing, process the groove into standard size and shape, and process the shape of the wheel hub at the same time

3.Heat treatment: Through the heat treatment process, internal stress and uneven grain structure are eliminated, and the strength and toughness of the wheel hub are improved.

4.Machining: Machining on CNC machines, including turning, milling, drilling, etc. These processes are used to create the shape and size of parts such as rims, spokes and hubs.

5.Surface treatment: Use surface treatment technology, such as spraying, electroplating, oxidation and other methods to increase the aesthetics and corrosion resistance of the wheel hub.

6.Assembly: Assemble the spokes and hub head together and secure with bolts or welding.

The above is the general production process of wheel hubs. Different manufacturers may have slightly different process details and equipment, but the overall process is basically similar.
